print room: John James Audubon
All prints guaranteed authentic. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity (COA) that gives background on the series and the specific print. Print size varies, but is typically 10-1/4 inches x 6-1/4 inches. We include original text if available; otherwise you will receive a photocopy of the text. Please contact us for condition reports, scans or information on exact dimensions. Your browser may be set to shrink photos to fit the browser window; if so, click on photos to see them at full size. For matted prints, prices are for the prints with or without mat. For framed prints, prices are for the prints as framed. Framed prints will incur a shipping surcharge. HAVING TROUBLE MATCHING A FAVORITE BIRD TO AN OCTAVO PRINT? IT ISN'T ALWAYS EASY, BUT WE CAN HELP! CONTACT US AND WE'LL HELP MATCH YOUR BIRD TO THE CORRECT OCTAVO PLATE NUMBER. Prints are listed in order of the plate numbers. To see scans, click the plate number/bird name. How scans appear to you depends on your computer monitor. Scans provide only a general idea of condition, and can be misleading on certain issues such as paper tone. We are happy to prepare a condition report for any print that interests you. Just contact us, being sure to specify first edition, plate number, and bird name. Visit our ordering page to read about our guarantee, and for information on sales tax, shipping, and forms of payment. And don't forget our fine selection of later edition octavo prints. We now have available several complete first edition fascicles (also called parts or numbers) in very good condition. These offer the collector a chance to experience the prints in their original format. These are very rare and hard to find, especially in this condition. Read an article about fascicles. See the fascicles for sale. HAWKS AND OWLS
